A vault of glass retracts in design.
With cold breath I stand to walk in emerald light.
Lost in my reverie, I move on as the cage remains.
Now, with heavy eyes I come to see a palm of fog.

In a sea of broken trees and fields of green long, forgotten,
within the mist, silence welcomes me, entwined with twisting shadows.
Upon decrepit ground, a hand extends.
“Guide me to rebirth.”

A giants step swallows the earth below, it’s gaping stare turns to mine.
In massive stride, the titan comes to me.
In the shadow of my plight, I rise to face this endless might.
Lost within this helpless night, my mind lets loose with endless light.

As force collides in sequence, my impulse implodes.
“Take hold of this conscience.”

Like from the worlds before, my sense is ripped away.
I can’t escape myself, thrown down a winding way.
One thing remains… What is becoming of me?

In this sea of endless sleep, the narrow walls of doubt surround me.
A trace of myself still remains, pulling at this ghostly surface.

From dying moonlight, descends the faded mirror.
Refracting veils confine me.
A demon's vessel, my soul entwined.
I am the colossus.

Legit the only thing wrong with this album is that it is far too short. I would love an album like this that's twice as long! Oh well, maybe I'll just listen to it twice haha (also just editing this for my vinyl friends, it doesn't say anywhere on the record, but this one plays at 45 rpm. Had a bit of a spook when it sounded a lot slower than I remembered lol) danielkrause
